Environment

The 24 Seven Group has always taken its environmental responsibilities seriously. With the effects of global warming and climate change high on both Government and Industry agendas, we are charged with an even bigger responsibility for energy management.

We are committed to reducing the harmful effects and a continual improvement of our environmental performance to minimise and prevent pollution. We strive to exceed UK, European and International environmental legislation and regulatory codes, with our management systems in line with current International standards and thinking.

We are continually setting targets measuring our performance within the industry and benchmarking ourselves against our competitors. We strive to monitor and improve energy efficiency, emissions, waste and water management. Staff receive training as part of a holistic approach to environmental management within the business. We even go as far as setting policies for procurement of environmentally friendly goods and services – and influencing our suppliers and contractors to ensure goods and services meet our exacting standards as part of our supplier procurement policy.

Our Environmental Objectives

  • We reduce and keep to a minimum waste produced by 24 Seven. This includes water, chemicals, energy and cleaning materials.
  • Utilise recycling services. 24 Seven operatives recycle objects and waste wherever possible to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
  • We continue to reduce emissions caused by company vehicles wherever possible by making less trips.
  • Bulk buy larger bottles of chemicals and products wherever possible to reduce the amount of plastic being used and orders being made.

We continue to develop our environmental objectives to ensure we are doing all we can to reduce our companies impact on the environment.
